Who is "we"? Israelis are as Americanized as anyone else. There are foods that we eat in Israel that I never had in the States - such as shwarma (meat shavings, often from chicken or turkey put inside pita bread or a thick tortilla-like bread called "lafa" with all kinds of goodies), falafel and humus.

I love Israeli foods, and the diced salads are the best!
