All days are related to saturday. For example, Sunday is the first day after saturday, so it´s YOM RISHON ("day" + ordinal number - 1st). Monday is the second day after saturday, so it´s YOM SHENI ("day" + ordinal number- 2nd)

shabat – Saturday
yom rishon – Sunday
yom sheni – Monday
yom shlishi – Tuesday
yom revi-i – Wednesday
yom chamishi – Thursday
yom shishi – Friday
